The Buddy Feeder is a custom-built quality slow-feed hay feeder for your equine companions. No more wasted hay trampled all over, defecated on, or eaten in no time. The wooden feeder is one piece with a removable black metal grate. There are no hinges to worry about, latches to secure, or lids that might warp. This sturdy feeder is heavy enough to stay put, yet easily manageable for two people to pick up and relocate. Just slide out the grate to effortlessly load a bale of hay. Grate openings are 3 inch squares. The wire bottom on the feeder allows for dirt or water to fall through. With safety as a priority, horses do not come in contact with wire and the corners of the feeder are smoothed out.

The Stall Feeder is designed for use in the stall and smaller paddocks with its short stature and rounded edges for safety. Use it for your average size horse or mini horse, donkey, goats, sheep, llamas, etc. Being lower to the ground your smaller equine friends can access hay with ease.

The Mini Buddy Feeder is designed to feed multiple minis! Mini horses, mini donkeys, goats, sheep, llamas, etc. Being lower to the ground your minis can access hay with ease and it is still wide enough to comfortably fit multiple animals at once.

Waterproofing Stain
Some people prefer raw wood while others prefer a coat of protection from the elements. If you want that layer of protection and don't feel like doing it yourself, we will! We offer the application of waterproofing stain in your choice of Redwood or Clear/Natural tone. We stained ours July 2014 and it sits out in the sun, rain, wind, and snow, 365 days a year, yet still looks brand new.
